Nicole Arms

I am a native of Long Beach, California; and I am an alumnus of David Starr Jordan High School.  Following graduation I attended Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Business Education.   After my undergraduate matriculation, I entered into the Secondary School system as a teacher of various business subjects including MS Office, which was a critical component in achieving my instructional goals for my classes. My desire to expound on this knowledge of Office Automation and other related technologies, led me to continue my education. I received my Masters of Science in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University.

Following graduate school, I made the decision to return to the Los Angeles area. I found employment as an IT trainer at ULEAD where I educated users on how to effectively use software programs. My proficiency of the software products gave me the leading edge as a trainer with multiple departments requesting my ongoing services.

I later took my knowledge of the various software programs to the public sector where I am currently employed as a Systems Analyst for the City of Huntington Beach.   I built on my knowledge of the various technology projects by enhancing the quality of services with the employees and citizens of Huntington Beach.  Some of my work duties include facilitating Microsoft Office application training and support and varied project management duties.
