Program Overview

Students will learn relevant and current web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/jQuery, PHP and MySQL. Other topics include mobile web application development, responsive design, accessibility, and user-centered design. This program is designed to prepare students for employment in a Web Development related field including both front-end and back-end development. Student wishing for a bachelor’s degree (transfer program) should meet with a counselor to discuss how this program articulates with other schools.

The Web Developer program is designed to prepare students for employment in web development and web programming positions within an organization. Students will learn the skills to plan, create, and implement websites for a wide variety of businesses and organizations. Emphasis will be placed on modern technologies, mobile development, responsive design and usability.
